Todays show has lots of looks/hears of songs with true meaning. That is what music is for me, it encompass me, it treat real good and it has meaning for me. Not just one kind of music (although I am a classic rock kind of guy) but many forms of music. I can groove along to a song by the 10, 000 Maniacs then switch to another kind of music. So many songs have meaning to the artists and they share them quite openly and freely with us, much like the Chris Isaac song “Wicked Game” telling us all about a bad person who wanted into his life and he wrote the song in 15 minutes. That was the time it took for this lady to come to his place after she called stating she was coming over at 3am. We have been there that not quite right for you person but still a incredible attraction. Other song like Marianne Faithful song “The Ballad Of Lucy Jordon” look at a mental collapse of a lady who is just going back into a childhood memory and placing herself there as the long white car takes her away. It happens on a daily schedule, amazing wonderful people are brought down with a mental health issue of one kind or another. This is why we want to bring Mental Health Radio to you because music matters and music helps us regardless of our mood, emotions etc.
