Todays show starts off with such an amazing song by Dire Straits and their song Brother In Arms which was written during the British invasion of the Falklands and has been remastered by Mark Knopfler and released to help raise money for those British veterans who he said are still suffering from the effects of the conflict. I also believe it is one of their most powerful songs and easily in my top 5 songs of theirs. Alice Cooper is in there as well with his song from Flush The Fashion album and Headlines, where he states the lyrics serve as a metaphor for his own shock-rock career and a prophetic jab at the “clicks and likes” culture, suggesting that people will do absolutely anything—no matter how outrageous—just to see their names in the news.
