Well what can you do, sometimes it just doesn’t go exactly as planned, sometimes it is your fault and sometimes it is not. That was the panic i had before the start of todays show, getting all ready to pick todays jewels of songs to play when all of a sudden there is no sound coming out of the website. You can imagine the panic, despair and overall anxiety…what’s wrong, why no sound. Well it turns out to be another wonderful surprise from windows update…yup. AGAIN! Why is it they can continue putting out an inferior product or one that keep changing setting on a PC? Now this is where I will accept some of the blame but, being a not really tech kind of guy I just really believe Microsoft on their updates. Anyway before I completely lose my mind, it did eventually work out and the show did go on. The story of our featured artists is a really interesting one as Long John Baldry discovered both Reg Dwight(Elton John) and Rod Stewart. Rod was found busking in a London train station and Long John invited him to play in his band Hoochie Coochie Man and eventually the band Steampacket. Elton came along during Long John’s Bluesology band phase and the John in Elton stage name was for Long John Baldry. Elton even wrote a song to Long John to thank him for saving his life in Someone Saved My Life Tonite and called Long John “Sugarbear” Overall with the known issues the show went off and this is it.
