Before the lights, sold out coliseums, fancy recording machines and all the media exposure there was the blues. It shaped the music we hear today, whether it is someone like Muddy Water or Robert Johnson or the Lady Billie Holiday the blues speaks to us. We are going to try and do justice to the blues, I’m sure we all have that one artist that we turn to for our need to feel, hear the blues. Even Etta James and her soulful song I would rather go blind and the feel of watching a love walk away is so hurtful and yet we all have felt like that. The blues bring out those feelings and they are truthful, we try to give you a taste of the blues and hopefully you like our curated show.
