Thanks for tuning into this recording of todays show, it has been a weird, unusual couple of days here. Looking forward to the upcoming retirement but also a bit scared. I have made this kind/type of decision before and there is always anxiety and excitement and potentially wonderment about how it will all work or turn out. Nothing to spend a lot of time on but, emotions can be a little misleading. Music has always been my go to place when i need to clear the bats out of the cave and today is no exception. Started the show with a great tune from Amy Winehouse, she is missed with her voice and talent. Addiction sucks! Mental health and the things we put our selves thru is mind blowing and I’m sure it is more regular for the majority of people just some handle it better than others. I look at my life now in the downhill decline and am grateful i didn’t end up too paralyzed with my mental illness. Karen Carpenter had such a great talent but unfortunately she had problems that she could not overcome.
